Are you looking to better understand and polish your poetry craft? Applying for admission to a writer’s workshop? Or perhaps you’re preparing to submit your poetry to journals or presses for publication? Chelsea offers editorial feedback on individual poems, chapbook manuscripts, and upon request, full-length manuscripts. Drawing upon her editorial and teaching experience, Chelsea helps clients shape their poems into their clearest, truest selves.

Individual Poems

Chelsea offers detailed line edits and a substantive one-page feedback letter on a batch of poems, which includes a careful description of your project/s, craft discussion, and suggestions for revision. Clients may choose to include a video or audio call to discuss further.

Chapbook Manuscripts

For clients seeking feedback on a chapbook manuscript or linked series of poems, Chelsea offers detailed line edits on individual poems, as well as a substantive feedback letter regarding the structure of the manuscript, inclusion and order of particular poems, titles, and the major themes and explorations of the manuscript. Manuscript consultations include a follow-up video or audio call to discuss further.

Additional Services

Consultation:

Chelsea offers a one-hour consultation video call or audio call, at the client’s preference, to follow up on a manuscript consultation or for more general consultation or coaching. The call can also be used to discuss publication and other areas of interest related to writing.

Full-length Manuscript:

Chelsea will work with you to shape and polish your full-length manuscript. Please contact Chelsea to discuss your project and its development, and to inquire about fees and availability.

Sustained Consultation:

Looking for ongoing mentorship or coaching? Chelsea offers regular, monthly services, which can include reading suggestions and writing prompts, revisions and notes on your project, and video or audio calls. This option is highly tailorable and designed to be useful to you.

Tailored Workshops:

Chelsea is available to provide tailored workshops to groups and individuals. She will work with you to create a workshop that meets your and your group’s needs in terms of pace, experience level, content, focus, and time commitment.
